Pastor Steve Carmichael
Steven Carmichael is a lifelong resident of Bixby, Oklahoma, with a heart for missions and community outreach. His passion for sharing the Gospel has taken him to several countries, including Albania, India, the Philippines, and Ukraine. It was on one of these mission trips that he met and fell in love with his wife, Silvi. They have now been married for 21 years and are dedicated to serving both their family business and the local community.
A graduate of Bixby High School, Steven continued his education at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri, earning a bachelor’s degree in Theology. Following his calling, he pursued mission work while also serving in youth ministry at two local churches when he was home.
Today, Steven manages the family business, Carmichael’s Produce, where he remains actively involved in community events like the annual Bixby Green Corn Festival. His deep connection to the people of Bixby fuels his ministry as co-pastor of BIXBY.CHURCH.
Steven’s life mission is to guide individuals in their faith journey—whether they are seeking to grow in their walk with God or are just beginning to explore who He is. His desire is to help people understand where they are spiritually and lead them toward the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
